Generation and backup need different evidence
A solar company may provide grid-connected generation, battery reserve or a combination. Clarify which operating mode it proposes for your task. Panel installation volume does not establish experience with critical circuits or island operation. A profile should distinguish design, supply, installation and commissioning so that clients can see the limits of responsibility.
Request comparable documents
Ask for a diagram, compatible-component list, yield forecast with assumptions and a description of backup behaviour. For batteries, usable energy, power and recharge capability matter. For the roof, consider loads, fixings and weather protection. Financial estimates should identify the prices and settlement assumptions used. A broad payback promise without a date or scenario is not sufficient justification for an investment decision.
Examine the commissioning process
Ask how transitions, load starting and recovery after an outage are tested. Owners need instructions, agreed access to settings and a clear service contact. This Network category does not establish the safety of an arbitrary equipment combination. Directory applicants should provide sources for their actual functions and documented examples; each new configuration still needs its own assessment. That distinction is particularly relevant when a familiar inverter is paired with a different battery or connected to a different building distribution arrangement.
