New MVHR Solutions: Selection Criteria Rather Than Brand Lists

This 9 September 2026 review examines a compact MVHR announcement through selection criteria. It is neither a brand ranking nor universal product approval.

Event and source

Zehnder UK announced EVO for constrained installation spaces on 21 April 2026. This is a manufacturer release; verify certification and performance claims for the exact model.

Compactness is not installation readiness

Small dimensions do not eliminate space for ducts, attenuators, drainage and filter replacement. The project needs the full installation volume, not merely the casing.

Comparable data

Request flow at required pressure, electrical input, heat recovery, sound and leakage. Compare matching test conditions rather than maxima from different promotional pages.

Modes and maintenance

Check frost protection, bypass, condensate and any moisture recovery. Verify local service, consumables and documentation availability separately.

What is not established

ZeroHouse has not tested this product and makes no superiority finding. The next review target is 9 October 2026; selection needs the datasheet and relevant certificate where claimed.
