Connection and metering
Confirm available capacity, connection point and metering with the distribution operator. Official regulator guidance helps identify procedures but does not replace project-specific conditions.
Intake, board and protection
ZeroHouse recommendation: provide the electrical designer with loads and operating modes. Protection, cabling and earthing require design calculations; this page is not an installation guide.
Backup and ATS
Transfer arrangements must coordinate grid and islanded operation without unintended backfeed. Generator, inverter and ATS characteristics affect the scheme and verification.
Critical circuits
Separate safety and essential household functions from deferrable loads. A properly designed critical-circuit group can make backup operation manageable.
PV and storage
Check grid interaction, permitted equipment modes and compatibility. Export limitation does not automatically remove operator requirements.
Calculator limits
An energy calculator does not verify fault currents, selectivity, earthing or transfer time. Those remain electrical-design and testing tasks.
