Ventilation design must coordinate airflow, air quality, acoustics and safe penetrations. An MVHR datasheet does not verify the whole building.

Supply, extract and rooms
ZeroHouse recommendation: prepare a room-by-room plan with use and occupancy assumptions. Coordinate airflow paths for bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens, including with doors closed.
Mechanical ventilation and recovery
A heat exchanger does not prove adequate flow or balance. Check the unit operating point, duct resistance and commissioning results.
Air quality and acoustics
Airflow is only one part of indoor environmental quality. Consider pollutant sources, intake location, filtration and bedroom acoustics.
Fire coordination
Coordinate penetrations and materials with the building fire strategy. Do not specify dampers or seals from a general article without project-specific review.
Separate assessments
Duct calculations, acoustic review and maintenance planning are separate tasks. Numerical minimum flows and exceptions are not reproduced here; verify them against the applicable complete text.
