Radon needs a separate building assessment. Foundation sealing and ventilation are parts of a solution, not proof of achieved performance.
What measurement establishes
Regional information supports planning but cannot replace measurements in a particular home. Agree method, location and duration with a competent specialist under applicable local requirements.
Entry paths
Soil gas can enter through cracks, joints and service openings. Mark a continuous gas-control layer and penetrations; a waterproofing product is not automatically suitable for every gas-control role.
Provision for further measures
EPA describes a sub-slab gas-permeable layer, barrier, sealing and vent route as a coordinated system. This US engineering reference does not determine local detailing or whether active extraction is needed.
Acceptance and operation
Inspect continuity before concealment and plan testing after completion. Results may require adjustments; consider changes to ventilation and basement use as well.
Scope limits
This article makes no medical assessment or universal Ukrainian threshold claim. Do not import the US action level as Ukrainian law or promise radon elimination from sealant alone.

What this means for your project
Plan soil-gas control and verification at foundation stage. Do not consider radon resolved without testing the completed building.
