ZeroHouse Glossary: 50 Passive and Energy-Efficient Building Terms

This glossary explains 50 terms used in ZeroHouse material. Short definitions lead to full articles and do not replace regulatory definitions.

How to read

Each term includes its other-language equivalent and a full-article link. In calculations, check units, boundary conditions and definitions in the relevant method.

Misleading shortcuts

Do not confuse kW with kWh, Uw with Ug, airtightness with no ventilation, or Listed with recommendation. These substitutions change the meaning of a technical decision.
